Lina the Honorable Girl

I used to think that Lina was very careless but now I realize that Lina is very sincere. First Lina told Lizzie that it wasn't the right thing to do when she took the food from the the storeroom, In addition Lina also told the truth about the mayor to the chief guard, Finally Lina told Mrs. Murdo that she was taking Poppy to a better place away from Ember.

“Lizzie its wrong” said Lina when she saw Lizzie holding a bag full of food from the storeroom “well its all going to be gone anyway so why not take it while we can” said Lizzie “because its not fair for the others”said Lina “and if we just keep on taking than there won’t be anymore for the others”.

Another reason is she told the truth to the chief guard about how the mayor was stealing and how Looper was helping him. Even though Lina got in trouble she told the truth and that was Lina being very truthful and that I think that was very brave of Lina, she listened to her heart and told the truth.

Finally Lina told Mrs. Murdo that she was taking Poppy to a better place,when she escaped from the Mayor and was on her way to see Doon she remembered Poppy and decided to take Poppy with her. But first she had to make sure that Mrs. Murdo knew where she was taking poppy otherwise if she did not know she would be very worried so Lina went and told Mrs. Murdo that she was taking Poppy to a better place.

So you see Lina is very trustworthy and sincere in all she says and telling the truth is better than lying even if just a little lie.
